Datasheets
  • Crk I/II Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ Crk I/II antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 109-132 within an internal region of Crk I of human origin
  • recommended for detection of Crk I and Crk II of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and equine, canine, bovine and porcine
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG1 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for Crk I/II Antibody (D-6) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with Crk I/II Antibody (D-6) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

Crk I/II Antibody (D-6) is an IgG1 κ mouse monoclonal Crk I/II antibody (also designated CRK Proto-Oncogene Adaptor Protein antibody, V-Crk Avian Sarcoma Virus antibody, Adapter Molecule Crk antibody, Proto-Oncogene C-Crk antibody, P38 antibody, V-Crk Sarcoma Virus CT10 Oncogene-Like Protein or CRKII antibody) that detects the Crk I/II protein of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA. Crk I/II Antibody (D-6) is available as the non-conjugated anti-Crk I/II antibody. The Crk family of adapter proteins including Crk-II, Crk-I, and Crk-L consist mostly of SH2 and SH3 domains. Through the interactions between SH2 domain and phosphotyrosine residues and/or between SH3 domain and proline-rich motifs, they are involved in a variety of signaling cascades. Crk I and Crk II are encoded by the same gene, which undergoes alternative splicing to yield these two proteins, but differ in their biological activities (2-4). Crk-II has less transforming activity than Crk-I, although both Crk-I and Crk-II bind to many tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins that bind to grb2 (2,4). In addition, Crk-II becomes rapidly tyrosine-phosphorylated in response to stimulation with insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) and might be involved in the IGF-I receptor signalling pathway. The gene encoding Crk I and II maps to human chromosome 17p13, a region which demonstrates frequent deletion or loss of heterozygosity in a wide range of human cancers.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393160 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
