Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% saponin and blocked with PBS + 5% BSA + 0.1% saponin for 1 hour at 37°C. Images correspond to the immunohistochemical processing of tissues at 15 (g and j), 30 (h and k) and 45 (i and l) post-lesion days. Enhanced immunoreactivity of eNOS is observed in images from OF-treated animals.
