Detection of Human, Mouse, and Rat HIF‑1 alpha by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of MCF‑7 human breast cancer cell line, Balb‑3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line, and PC‑12 rat adrenal pheochromocytoma cell line untreated (-) or treated (+) with 150 µM CoCl2 for 8 hours. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human/Mouse/Rat HIF‑1 alpha Monoclonal Antibody, followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for HIF‑1 alpha at approximately 120 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
Detection of Human HIF‑1 alpha by Simple WesternTM. Simple Western lane view shows lysates of A549 human lung carcinoma cell line untreated (-) or treated (+) with Hypoxia (1% O2), loaded at 0.2 mg/mL. A specific band was detected for HIF‑1 alpha at approximately 116 kDa (as indicated) using 1 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat HIF‑1 alpha Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB1536). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system.
