Isoform A is predominantly expressed in skin, hair follicles and developing neurons of the trigeminal ganglion. Isoform B was found in bronchi, alveoli, stomach, intestinal crypts, whisker pads, CNS, telencephalic neuroectoderm, thalamus, Rathke pouch and periventricular subependymal germinal layer.
